Sunwapta Falls Restaurant: “Quick and easy lunch”

During our trip to Canada we found this restaurant by chance. It was a lovely summer day, so we loved the fact that it was possible to have lunch outside.

We took our own beverages and ordered our burgers inside. We were given a number so we could pay our lunch at the cash register. After paying we took our cutlery and went looking for a place outside. Because it was such a gorgeous day lots of people were eating outside. We were lucky to find some empty chairs, although one of them was broken.

The system by calling out the numbers of the orders, didn’t work too well, because some people weren’t paying attention and didn’t hear that their numbers were called.

We were hungry, so we didn’t miss our call. Really enjoyed my portobello burger served with a small salad. Very nice. Would definitely eat here again.

Hana: “Great Korean Food Experience”

If you’re looking for an authentic Korean food experience, I can definitely recommend Hana.

Hana is situated somewhat away from the touristic center of Brussels, but the food is worth the walk or the bus ride.

Since we were with a group of 12 people the restaurant asked us to order beforehand. This turned out to be very convenient, because our food was served quickly after we arrived.

I ordered my favorite Korean dish: bulgogi. Served very, very hot (be careful not to get burned) and accompagnied bij side dishes (kimchi, soy sprouts and miso soup) and rice. It was very delicious! Do yourself a favour and try the Chapssaltteok (Korean-style mochi) as a dessert. Really good!

Hana does not only serve Korean food, you can also enjoy Japanese style sushi here. I didn’t try the sushi, but it looked good. But why would you go to a Korean restaurant and not enjoy their great cuisine?

Be sure to make reservations, because the restaurant can get crowded!

Petrus: “Fresh pancakes”

We went here with friends for some coffee, tea and pancakes. The two boys really enjoyed their pancakes, which were freshly made. My tea was also very nice, accompagnied by a little chocolate easter egg.

Staff was very friendly. It was a bit chilly inside though because of the staff passing through the door to the terrace a lot to serve the people outside.

Just a nice place to take a break from visiting Wipers.

Et Kabuffke: “Nice place to drink a Killepitsch outside”

Killepitsch is a traditional liquor based on herbs made in Düsseldorf. So it is a must to try this when visiting Düsseldorf. You can order a glass through a small window en drink it outside standing at some wooden tables.
